The REDM Survey
The survey captured over 3500 points which were then exported into AutoCAD to produce the wireframe model of the interior of the Guild Chapel. The photographic survey contributed over 200 scaled photographs to aid the construction of the wireframe model where obtaining REDM points was impossible or complex moldings and detail needed to be recorded which were too small for the REDM to accurately measure. The photographs were rectified and scaled using the measurements from the REDM survey as a cross-reference. This enabled accurate scaled images of the smaller details to be used as a reference when creating the wireframe model.
